Attaching 2 Plastic Sheets

Then apply heat again. There are several ways to safely seal plastic sheets so nothing can seep through the seams but duct tape is a simple practical and inexpensive way to seal two or more plastic sheets for your home project. Using the low setting on my heat gun gently heat up the two sheets till they get tacky. Step 1 clean the two pieces of plastic to be epoxied together.

If the actual composition of the plastic is unknown an epoxy is the best choice as it will survive longer than the plastic sheets themselves.
